I’ve migrated the site over to a flat-file content management system (CMS) today. This has been in the works for a while. I like the new CMS that I’ve found. It’s simple. It’s minimal. It doesn’t have a lot of overhead. Wordpress was like using a sledgehammer to put up a thumb tack. I just wanted something simple to use, simple to update, and had little overhead.

With the new CMS I’m using, I can use Markdown to create my pages. I use this while I’m at work everyday, so I figured I should continue using the simplicity of Markdown in my web presence. The more unified, simplified, and minimized my web presence, the more I can focus on content.
